Q: What’s your name? Where are you from? How old are you?
A: I’m Maya :] I hail from MD. To avoid having to update this thing everytime I age, I will say I was born April 9, 1995.
Q: What shows have you done?
A: Les Mis-Lovely Lady/ensemble, Jukebox (original production by my school), Grease- Patti Simcox, Annie- Hannigan, HSM- Taylor (DONT KILL ME. It was absolutely dreadful. My mom MADE me audition. The worst part is, I still remember all the songs and dances) Alice in Wonderland- Mad Hatter, Willy Wonka- Violet understudy (got to do it for a night :]) and Ms. Bucket, Music Man- Eulalie, Suessical- Mazie, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (twice)- Lucy then Peppermint Patty, Little Shop of Horrors- Ronette, The Hobbit- Dori, Bye Bye Birdie-Penelope Ann, countless amounts of one acts, scenes, short films, etc. and I directed a middle school musical called Groovy, student directed Rehearsal for a Murder (also played Loretta), Into the Woods- The Witch
Q: How long does it take for a submission to get posted?
A: Because of the rate the queue goes, about 5 days
Q: Can you promo-
A: No.
Q: Do you post all submissions?
A: No. Only the good ones that haven’t been done before 8 million times.
Q: What submissions are overdone?
A: “I can’t- I have rehearsal” anything about ALW, anything about The Scottish Play, any Thespian-lesbian jokes, ” [musical]/oh I love that movie/gtfo”, “Don’t know____? Gtfo”, SHOWTUNE LYRICS. All been done a thoousand times.

A: If you want credit (which I’m sure you do) just put a link to your blog saying “submitted by ______” after the picture and any description.

A: A guarantee your showtune lyric has been submitted before. A good 95% (made up percentage) of the submissions I get are showtune lyrics that have been posted before. I’m sorry, but I just can’t deal with posting the same idea over and over and ooveeerrrr
Q: What song should I sing for my audition?
A: I have no clue. An audition song should be the style of the music in the show and match the personality of the character you want. Tell me what show AND part you’re trying for and I might be able to suggest something.
